The Noches de la Yeguada are not simply a night-time adaptation of the regular activities at Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado, but a genuine original artistic creation conceived expressly to be experienced after nightfall. The evening masterfully blends a top-level equestrian show with lighting, live music, innovative staging and the excellence of the Carthusian horse, the oldest and purest bloodline in the world.

On each evening, the horses of Yeguada Cartuja take centre stage in an exclusive production in which the power, beauty and elegance of the Carthusian horse lead the audience through a story inspired by five centuries of history, heritage and equestrian tradition. The event is sponsored by the Provincial Tourism Board of the Cádiz Provincial Council, which reinforces the project's provincial dimension and its contribution to promoting Cádiz as a cultural, tourist and experiential destination.

Through an immersive, magical atmosphere, the event offers an all-encompassing sensory experience that connects emotionally with the audience. The programme is further enriched by the setting of Jerez, Spanish Capital of Gastronomy 2026: before and after the show, guests can enjoy tapas and a menu based on the flavours and produce of the province of Cádiz, courtesy of Catering San Juan and Momento Andaluz. A gastronomic offering that completes the cultural and tourist experience of the evenings and strengthens their bond with the local area.

An experience accessible to all audiences

With the aim of bringing equestrian heritage closer to different generations and encouraging local participation, Yeguada Cartuja offers special rates for children under 12, young people and students, senior citizens and residents of Jerez de la Frontera. Proof of eligibility for discounts must be provided in accordance with the conditions set out through the official sales channels, allowing visitors to enjoy a unique cultural experience at a reduced price.

A legacy of more than five centuries open to the public

As the perfect prelude to the main show, guests can stroll through the Jardín de los Cartujanos, a unique natural setting in which to discover at first hand the legacy of these historic horses. Since 1484, Yeguada Cartuja Hierro del Bocado has preserved the pure bloodline of the Carthusian horse, regarded as the oldest lineage in the world within the Pura Raza Española.

Following the resounding success of its first edition in 2025 — when a single night was enough to sell out, with more than 600 guests from fifteen different Spanish regions — the four dates scheduled for this summer stand as the definitive sustainable, high-quality tourism plan for rediscovering equestrian heritage, leisure and excitement in an unrivalled setting.
