The Parada Hípica fills the streets of Jerez again: tradition, history and equestrian identity
Jerez de la Frontera, 19 September 2026. On Friday the parade brought together the Jerez Local Police, the Royal Guard, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art, Portugal's GNR and other bodies connected with the horse.
On Friday 18 September Jerez once again lived one of those scenes that capture, like few others, its close bond with the equestrian world.
The Parada Hípica made its way through the city's streets, bringing together institutions, forces and organisations connected with the horse in a parade that set off from González Hontoria Park and crossed the centre of Jerez.
