Jerez de la Frontera once again becomes the national epicentre of Doma Vaquera (Spanish working dressage). From 18 to 20 September 2026, the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art will host the 20th H.M. The King's Cup of Doma Vaquera, one of the major fixtures on the Spanish equestrian calendar and a benchmark for this discipline so deeply rooted in Andalusian soil.

Three days to enjoy tradition, competition and the finest level of a discipline that forms part of Jerez's equestrian identity. Doma Vaquera, which evolved from the handling of fighting cattle in the countryside, represents one of the most authentic forms of Spanish horsemanship and reaches its highest sporting expression at this cup.

Twentieth edition of a historic event

H.M. The King's Cup of Doma Vaquera reaches its twentieth edition firmly established as the benchmark event for this discipline in Spain. The finest horse-and-rider pairs on the national scene will gather at the Royal School's facilities to compete at the highest level in a test that combines technique, tradition and spectacle.

The competition will bring together riders from across Spain who have qualified over the course of the season, offering spectators the chance to witness the very best Doma Vaquera in the country.
